Pet Cooling & Heating Pad

Bought this for our 11 year old beagle with arthritis. The low heat setting is gentle and he sleeps on it every night now. It is quiet which matters because he startles easily.

Both cooling and heating work well. My lab took to it immediately. The power cord comes out of a corner which is a little awkward against a wall but we made it work with an extension.

We have a husky in Arizona and she struggled all last summer. The cooling mode on this pad is strong enough that she actually seeks it out now. The cover comes off to wash which is a must with all that fur.

At 24in by 27in this cooling mat is the the perfect size for small dogs like mine who is a Pomeranian mix. It’s great for when he wants to curl up to rest. The design is so cute because of its shell design. I think it compliments the decor in my living room that has sage, mauve pink, and white as the main colors. At first I was worried because I thought the cooling mat would be thicker but it’s turned out to be ideal because my dog prefers to lay flat on the floor. Now he has something that is a combination of cool and floor. With that said the mat really stays cool to touch and my dog has been sleeping on it ever since I got it. Since it is lightweight I can sit in his actual bed and it provides the same cooling effect. It’s been a nice addition for my pup!

This extra large ended up being just a tad too bag so I kept the large instead. These are well made & they really do have a cool touch & feel. I put mine in the freezer for 15 min before taking dogs out on the porch in the morning. They love it.

It works good. Better than running a big fan all the time. I think he is gonna love it this winter.

I really liked the cooling mat I purchased for my dogs. It is cooling although it does change temperature when he’s been laying on the same spot but he does get relief. I started spraying it with a water bottle to get it to cool down again quickly which does work. I wasn’t happy the size I ordered was short by a couple inches at both sides but still kept it because my dog is enjoying it.

I bought this for my cat who has an autoimmune disorder that’s affects his joints and his body temp can run a little higher than a cat’s already normal body temp of 101,0 degrees. He loves this thing! The mat is truly cooling and when I pick my cat up after he has been laying on it, I can feel that his body temp is actually cooler. The size is just right for both my cats to snuggle on it. I only gave it 4 stars because after only having it for about one month, I have noticed the pad doesn’t seem to be as cool to touch as when I first purchased it. The cats still use it daily though. I do wish there were more color options available but will probably buy another mat next summer.

Works great to keep dogs relatively cool.Ous sleep in their kennels at night, and this allows them to settle in and go right to sleep. I highly recommend them.

My elderly Shih Tzu has been struggling and fidgeting so much this summer trying to stay cool at night, so finding this cooling mat has been a real relief for all of us. The smooth side has a very silky fabric that feels noticeably cool to the touch right out of the box. It has made an immediate difference for her, as she rests quietly now without all the constant shifting and repositioning she was doing before.The 24" x 27" size is ideal for her smaller breed. It fits just right at the foot of our bed without creating any extra heat around our own feet, making it a comfortable setup for everyone. It is quite thin with very little cushion, but that actually makes it versatile. What I like, the fabric is soft and one of my dogs has been using it as a pillow. It seems comfortable and has a little padding. It does feel cool to the touch on both my hand and feet, but I’m unsure how long this would last when laying on it for any length. This might be nice inside a crate but only if your animal isn't destructive. There is a filling and if left alone I can see this being a problem.What didn’t really work for me: I have large dogs that’s both weight 75/80 lbs each. This is not a large mat. It fits medium sized or small dogs and cats but my husky (pictured) is curled up in the photo and still wouldn’t fit on this mat. He is photographed next to my smaller cat to show the difference a little easier I hope.Overall, it is easy to clean and does feel cool to the touch. Nothing extreme but a noticeable difference. The sizing is too small for my personal needs and saying it fits most is a stretch. It seems to be comfortable as my dog likes it for his head and we live in a high humidity area so this is a helpful way to help my animals out for comfort and cooling when they need a little something extra.

These work well. They are not cold, they are cool. Heat releases the minute your pets gets up.

I cannot tell you how cooling it is but Ms. Edna seems to prefer it. It has been triple digits for a while in OK, because of its size, it is in a room that I am not in regularly and off the foot path in that bedroom. When she realizes that I am home, she comes out of that room. She leave little bits of her coat on it, so I know that is where she spends a lot of time. It is on a carpeted floor and her fur is on this mat more than the carpet. So I don't know if it is that cooling or she just thinks it is cool, LOL. I have to two pack and she has been on both, each when the other is being washed. She has two beds that she sleeps in when I am home because they are where I usually am, but I think the rest of her day is spent napping on these mats. They don't slip or move around much and she is little and can lay anyway she wants on them and still be fully on them. I have no complaints because she doesn't seem to have an issues with them. Because she is elderly, I think more padding would suit her but I think that would increase the heat of it.

The cooling material really works. You can feel it. My dog likes it and my cat absolutely loves it.

I bought this for my 5 month old Golden retriever puppy Bella. I took it out of the package and the mat was white indicating heat so I put it in my deep freeze for a minute and then gave it to Bella. I was shocked how cool it stays and even over night. I put it on the floor and Bella instanltly laid on it and didnt get up all night. The mat is so soft and quilted. It is a must have for dogs and maybe me too 🤪

This blanket really does stay cool even on those hot nights when the A/C just can’t keep up in the home. Dogs love it (well, they don’t tell me of course but they lay on it all the time lol)

Way too expensive. Much thinner than i expected for the price, but easy to take on and off the sofa and my dog seems to like it. My only complaint is the price. They are making a big mark up on this because anything for dogs is game for price gouging these days. I probably would not buy it again if I had seen it before I ordered it

My cat didn't really take to the cooling function although I wish he had. It does make a little fan noise, but he wasn't afraid of that. I think I just give him too many options. The fabric is a bit stiff, in part because of the mechanics inside it. You can't really place a cover on it because it will defeat the purpose of the air flow in cooling mode, not to mention blocking it. Come winter time, I think this will be much more appreciated. Essentially, it is a heating pad and does not use the forced air. A light towel or pillow case may help attract your friend to the pad if the heat alone won't.From DIHTING, it's a well-made product and of good size, but its audience might be limited with the cooling mode. That's unfortunate, because it's a nice concept. Their loss I guess...//

This product is perfect. I got a large for my Shepherd .It fit's her body just right,I didn’t want an oversize for her that would just get in the way. The cooling action works perfect. I had tried another brand that claimed it would cool and it was not .This is durable and looks cute with a bone and paw print design. She comfortable laying on it and it does not slide on my floor. this is just what I needed for her for after her surgery.

Cooling mats are very good - BUT only order thru Amazon because ordering thru the Pelsbarn company is not good. You pay for expedited delivery then get a notice that order will be delayed because they are very busy - no refund / and customers have gone to BBB to try to rectify -ONLY ORDER THRU AMAZON - very good service - AND product is really good!
